A Little About Kabiyè
Kabiyè belongs to the Gur branch of the Niger-Congo language family, making it a relative of Nawdm and other languages of northern Togo and the surrounding region. It is the native language of a significant portion of Togo’s population, including communities in the Kara Region, the Kozah Prefecture, and areas around the city of Kara.
