Dictionary corrections and word suggestions

If you have found a word that is missing, a translation that does not look right, or a spelling that needs fixing, the best way to send it is through the built-in suggestion form inside the dictionary itself. Every dictionary has one. Just tap “Suggest a word” while you are browsing and your message goes directly to us for review. We personally check every submission before anything changes.

If you work in linguistics, language documentation, or African studies and want to discuss the dictionaries, share source material, or raise a concern about how a specific language is represented on this site, please reach out by email. Want your language added?

Language Roots Hub was built to grow. If you speak a West African language that is not yet on this platform and you would like to see it added, we want to hear from you. Every language on this site started with someone who cared enough to reach out.

Whether you are a native speaker, a community leader, a linguist, or simply someone who loves a language and wants to see it preserved digitally, send us a message and tell us about the language — its name, where it is spoken, roughly how many people speak it, and any resources that already exist for it. We will take it seriously.
